Bangladesh opposition mounts huge protest, MPs quit
When I read this yesterday I thought to myself, is this the start of a colour revolution in Bangladesh?…I think it might be.
"Sheikh Hasina is a vote thief," they chanted at the Golapbagh sports ground where the rally was held as the crowd spilled into surrounding streets.’
To me this statement makes no sense, as Sheikh Hasina was PM from 1996 - 2001, and has been PM ever since being re-elected in 2009, having won in a landslide in 2018. She has a two-thirds majority and Bangladesh is one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia. Yes rising food prices and inflation are an issue, but it’s an issue around the world, she’s not to blame for that.
"I am a victim of oppression" - autorickshaw driver Russel Miah.
Just this one quote tells me the US (& UK, Canada etc.) are behind these protests.
This is just speculation on my part you might say, so what else do we know?
Well there’s this article which informs us that…
‘The leadership of Sheikh Hasina, who came to power in 2009 with a strong determination to curb extremist forces from Bangladesh and the re-emergence of non-communal and secular forces, has reversed the political environment created by the erstwhile political regimes. The Hasina government introduced a zero-tolerance policy and amended Anti-Terrorism Act to combat politically and religiously motivated extremism in Bangladesh.’
It’s her Wiki page though that reveals the most, it informs us that…
‘Reporters Without Borders in 2021 characterized Sheikh Hasina as a predator for curbing press freedom in Bangladesh since 2014.’
Here’s where Reporters Without Borders gets its money - Sourcewatch
Sticking with wiki…
‘On 27 June 2013, a case against Hasina and 24 other Bangladeshi Ministers and security personnel was lodged at the International Criminal Court (ICC), for the alleged violation of human rights.’
The ICC is a private business created by the British Empire and is partly funded by George Soros. It’s unaccountable to anyone, not even the UN. Read this excellent article, and this even better one to understand exactly what the ICC is!
Just as an aside, George Clooney’s wife Amal (2016 WEF Young Global Leader, 2022 Time magazine Woman of the Year) - (Wiki) is also calling for a special tribunal for Putin’s ‘war crimes’, make no mistake…she is a special kind of swamp rat. She was on the team that prosecuted Milosevich, and one of her clients was former (US puppet) Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, here SHE is in 2014 talking about nuking all Russians…
This ‘headline’ was all over the swamp media in October…these are sick people!
Back to Bangladesh…
So, if I’m right and a regime change operation is underway, why now…she’s been PM since 2009?
For me this article gives us the number one reason, no doubt in my mind…
‘The country was long aligned with the US, but in recent years Hasina has courted deeper ties with China, with Beijing bankrolling some of her multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects.’
Another reason might be that in the 2018 election the swamp had its own candidate in the form of Kamal Hossain who is UN through and through.
‘During the 2006 United Nations Secretary-General selection, Hossain's name was floated as a possible candidate.’ - Wiki
But he came nowhere, it seems that the popularity of Sheikh Hasina is such that not even the swamp could install its puppet, and the same will be true at the next election in 12 months time I’ll wager.
Just to finish off, as I’m writing, we have this from the UK government…
UK announces additional £4.5 million funding for the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh
‘The United Kingdom is contributing an additional £4.5 million to sustain the Rohingya refugee response in Bangladesh, lifting its funding from the start of the crisis in August 2017 to a total of £345 million.’
That sure would buy a lot of protests wouldn’t it?
Let’s see what happens in the next 12 months…
